Lush Lip Scrub

Bubblegum lip scrub, carmex

So after reading so much about Lush's bubblegum lip scrub I decided to get myself some and see if it was as good as people said. As with all Lush products, it came in nice packaging. A little glass jar that will be handy to store something in when the product is finished. The lip scrub itself is a bright bubblegum pink and the smell is so strong, I don't think it smells like bubblegum really, it reminds me more of the blue panda pop drinks I used to get when I was a kid, you know the one that used to turn your tongue bright blue! Either way I really like the smell.
It is quite a dry consistency so you won't get in an oily mess when using it, it's nice and course so very "scrubby". You just dip your finger in the jar and the scrub sticks to it and then you can rub it onto your lips and as per instructions on the jar, lick off any excess! It tastes lovely! It leaves my lips tingling a little but lovely and soft and then I slather on some lip balm and apply my lip colour. It is fantastic for using before putting on a dark lipstick because it will get rid of any little bits of skin that your lipstick would normally stick to, so you get a nice even result. All in all this little gem gets a 10/10 and it will be going in my make-up kit so I can get my clients to use a little before I apply their lipstick.

Ruby Hammer Make-up Case

You would have seen in yesterday's post the pink case I bought at the weekend. Well here is a better look at what you get for your £45.

Make-up case
Ruby Hammer Case

There are 18 individual eye shadows in the top level
Eyeshadows

I swatched a few of them, but I ran out of room on my arm!

Eyeshadows

There are 6 eye shadow combo's and 2 blushers on level 2

4 lipsticks, 4 lip glosses & 4 nail polishes on the 3rd level

Ruby Hammer lipsticks

Ruby Hammer nail varnish

To be honest I am quite happy with the items in the case, not blown away by the eye shadows but when you get this much for £45 I don't suppose you expect them to be amazing. They are quite pigmented, and are perfect if you want a nice range of colours to play around with and create lots of looks. Some of the eye shadows are a little too similar to one another, it's a shame there couldn't have been a wider colour range. But all in all I think the case was good value for money.

Coffee Time

Guess what we finally get this Christmas in the UK!!!!!

pumpkin spice latte

The pumpkin spice latte!!!!!!!! America have had this festive treat for the last 10 years, and finally we get it! I am so excited, can't wait for the red cups!

Make-up Haul

So as promised here are the pictures of the goodies I picked up yesterday. I was quite happy with the products I bought, I got a nice range of eye-shadow colours, lipsticks/glosses and some other bits. My hands were covered with a multitude of products by the end of the day, I looked like I hadn't showered in weeks!

Make-up haul

I'm pleased as punch with my bubblegum pink case, it's by Ruby Hammer for Debenhams and is choc full of products, which for £45 I thought was pretty good. I was always a fan of Ruby & Millie products so expect the same quality from these, so will test them all out and let you know what I think in a separate post.
The black compact is also by Ruby Hammer, there are 64 eye shadows, then it opens out to unveil 4 blushers, 8 lipglosses, 2 face powders and 2 bronzers. Quite good non?

Ruby Hammer vanity case

After hearing so much about Lush's bubblegum lip scrub I thought it would be rude not to give it a try (the smell reminds me of panda pop), and whilst I was there I got myself a bottle of Fantasy from their new make-up range. It is a beautiful gold colour and really vivid when applied to the skin.

Ruby Hammer make-up compact

I finally got me a Revlon Lip Butter, a bit late to join the party I know but after all the hype I thought I should see what all the fuss is about and purchased shade 090-sweet tart, a beautiful rich candy pink. I also got a Stila fiesta set lip glaze trio, Too Faced natural at night collection, Essie mint candy apple, Barry M dazzle dust 96, L'Occitane cocoa flower lip balm, and a Rituals mandarin & mint foaming shower gel! Phew that's a lot of stuff, I won't go into detailed explanations about everything now. I will test the products out and do some swatches etc and let you know as and when I use them. If there is anything you want me to review straight away, let me know and I will do so.

GBK dinner

Not beauty related, but I thought I would share our refuel dinner from GBK after hauling all those bags of shopping around. An awesome lime shake that tasted like the lime ice-cream on a twister (my fave lolly) so I was very happy to have discovered this! Super skinny fries (shame they don't make you skinny though!) and a yummy bunless pesterella grilled chicken burger with salad and slaw and the most amazing basil mayo! It was all so good I actually felt a little sad about leaving some of my shake and fries and it sparked a debate about would you feel stupid asking for a doggy bag?!? I have never asked for my leftovers to be packed up, and would feel a little too embarrassed to ask.....
Am I the only one?

Smashbox

I was over the moon to see a Smashbox concession in Boots yesterday, I have loved this brand for a long time and they were hard to get your mitts on. So I was really happy to learn that Smashbox are opening concessions in Boots flagship stores in the next few weeks. The one at Lakeside in Essex is now open and one will be open in Bluewater in Kent shortly. For anyone near the Lakside store planning on doing some shopping today, they are giving away a lovely little box of goodies worth £19 when you buy any two products today only as part of their opening weekend! I would keep my eye on the Bluewater opening for the same deal! The girl on duty on the Smashbox stand was adorable and so helpful, she talked me through loads of the products and was chatting to me about their make-up and showing me some of their cool quirky products. They have an awesome blusher that adapts to each persons skin, on my hand it turned from clear to a bright flushed pink, on my friends skin it was a more muted pink and dries into a gorgeous velvet smooth powder finish.

I had a fantastic shopping trip yesterday with my friend, bought loads of stuff and have loads to tell you about, so stand by for a large post later on!

Vixen Lips

As you may have read yesterday, I did a little make-up shopping and came home with a red vivo lipstick. My first ever red lipstick as I always thought it wouldn't look very nice on me and I was never brave enough to give it a try. But I bought it for my make-up kit and thought I would give it a whirl and see what I thought. The colour is very bright! But I absolutely love it!

Vivo Red Red Lipstick

It is a truly stunning shade of red, and the lipstick is so creamy and goes on like a dream. It is Vivo's shade Red Red, and as well as all of the above it also has really good staying power, I have been wearing it all day so far with only one application, and another bonus is it smells lovely too!

Vivo Haul

I try my very hardest to avoid the make-up aisle when I do my shopping but sometimes it just gets the better of me. I may have bought a few bits whilst I was in the supermarket today. I will review the items when I have had a chance to play with them all.

I got a couple of eyeshadow palettes a concealer palette, a lipgloss and a lipstick. I have already tried the lipgloss and all I will say for now is I like it very much!

In the palm of your hand

On a scale of 1-10 my heart flipped at a rate of 11 when I saw these clutch bags.

Edie Parker clutch bag
Edie Parker is the brainchild of Brett Heyman and the brand launched in 2010 and the likes of "once upon a time" actress Ginnifer Goodwin have been spotted with their clutches.
They are absolutely stunning and I am so in love with them, but with prices ranging from £685-£989 I will have to keep dreaming! If you have enough pennies to treat yourself to one of these little beauties then you can purchase them here.

James Bond Collection

OPI James Bond Collection

OPI have announced their limited edition collection of nail varnish to coincide with release of the new James Bond film Skyfall. The collection is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of James Bond, and all of the 12 shades have been named after James Bond films. There will also be a special top coat, named the man with the golden gun, which will contain real flecks of 18 carat gold!
This collection should be available in the autumn, just in time for the festive season, what better way to spice up your nails for Christmas than with flecks of gold!

EXCITED!

UPDATE

I have just found out that the new range will be available in the UK from October, and the man with the golden gun topcoat will retail for £29.98.

St Ives Facial Scrub

facial scrub
I am a massive fan of St Ives facial scrubs, I have used them for years and other brands just don't compare to this one. I find that is the best at making your skin feel clean and smooth and really scrubs away those dead skin cells and makes your skin look brighter. I use the blemish and blackhead control scrub because my skin is far from perfect and I find this one helps me control the breakouts. But if you are lucky enough to have clear skin then there is an invigorating scrub, or a gentle scrub for those delicate little flowers.

My favourite thing about this scrub is the ground walnut shell that is used to exfoliate, it gives this scrub a rougher texture than you get with most facial scrubs so it really sloughs off the dead skin and flaky bits. I use this every day in the shower to clean my face, (although you should only use it 3-4 times per week, but it has never done me any harm) and one tube lasts for ages.

I rekindled my love for this product this morning after using another brand for a while, but I have come back to what I feel is the best for my skin. I love you St Ives!

Check out their whole range here.

Avon Glazewear Sparkle

A few days ago I mentioned the new gloss I bought from Avon, it's glazewear sparkle in shimmering amethyst and it is so nice! It is a vivid hot pink, with little flecks of glitter in it and it smells divine! I know it's not for you to sniff, but your lips are right under your nose right!? The colour is exactly as you see in the tube, it comes out nice and rich and only needs one coat. This shade is perfect for fair skin, it looks really striking.

This is what my afternoon looked like.

Garlic, chilli and ginger prawns in the garden, whilst reading magazines.
Perfect!

Sanctuary hand sugar scrub

I am a little lazier than I would like to be about hand care really, I have all the best intentions to really look after them but I get sidetracked very easily. However I have used Sanctuary's hand sugar scrub for the first time today and I love it! I am a fan of sugar scrubs anyway because they exfoliate really well, but this one has the bonus of Sanctuary's signature fragrance which is gorgeous. All you need is a little of the product in the palm of your hand and then rub together making sure you get between all your fingers and your knuckles where your skin can get rough and dry. Rinse the scrub off, dry and apply hand cream, et voila lovely soft pinkies! It worked so well and made my hands feel really smooth, it contains Vitamin E and white tea extract to moisturise and it certainly did the trick.

I heart sunshine

Don't you just love waking up to crispy hair? Urgh that is what I had this morning after using lots of hairspray for my night out yesterday. But we woke to a beautiful morning and had breakfast and coffee out on the decking after a mere 4 hours sleep, so I'm not feeling the best today. I decided I would have a super lazy day, as it was bright sunshine I was planning on laying outside and having a little nap. I slapped on loads of sun screen put some music on, poured myself a drink and went and laid outside until it started raining! Boo
Now I feel sticky and slimy from the sun cream and a bit narked that my day of sunshine has been taken away from me.

Never mind, I had a lovely day of sun yesterday so I guess I can't be too greedy. I did a bit of sunbathing and then started to get ready for my night out, I painted my nails with OPI's Linkin park after dark, I love this colour so much, a really deep intense blackberry shade. I then rekindled my love for Urban Decay's Maui Wowie eyeshadow, it's a beautiful pale gold colour with lots of little flecks of glitter and is great for the evening. I then donned my teal coloured strapless dress and brown wedges (which really hurt my feet) and I was ready for my night out in Canary Wharf listening to live Jazz music and chilling out with my friends.
What a beautiful evening it was yesterday as well, it was so warm even at gone midnight, that I was a little dissapointed I didn't get to wear my new denim jacket but it was lovely to be able to sit outside and not feel at all chilly. Although I will complain about the holes in my feet thanks to my wedges! Not a happy bunny, they look so pretty but hurt like hell! Must purchase some party feet.

I hope you all enjoyed your Saturday!

Face Masks

I was out having a little roam yesterday and bought 3 Montagne Jeunesse face masks for £2. I love these face masks they are a little nostalgic and remind me of being a teenager out on a shopping trip and wanting to get the most out of my pocket money. I used to come home with cheap body spray and face masks!

I bought the Strawberry souffle mask, Passion peel off mask, which is pulped pomegranate and passion flower, and the deep sea mud mask. I love face masks, I don't use them often enough but I'm quite lazy and have to be in the mood for all the rinsing you have to do afterwards to get the little buggers off. I used the mud mask last night and I almost died from the heat in the bathroom whilst rinsing my face (we have a radiator that is still hot to dry the towels, which equals sauna territory in the bathroom). I did enjoy slopping the thick goo onto my face though and then walking into the living room and greeting my boyfriend looking like a creature from the deep. He found it quite amusing though and admitted he had never seen a girl in a facemask before! I love the amount you get in this sachets as well, it is more than enough for a generous application and I had so much left over that I slapped it on the backs of my hands as well rather than throw it away.

I was pleased with my little Friday night pamper session, and my skin looked and felt brighter after the mask.

I hope you all enjoyed your night too!

How do you pout?

As far back as I can remember I have loved lip balms, I always had at least one in the pocket of my school uniform, sometimes it was more like 3 of 4 in various fragrances. We weren't allowed to wear make-up at school so lip balm was nice and shiny and my way of getting away with glossy lips.
Nothing much has changed now I'm an adult, I still always have lip balm on me. I have to say I panic a little if I don't have any ( I know a little bit crazy, right?) But I actually got really upset when my lip balm fell out of my bag in my friends car and I couldn't find it; she called me a couple of days later to say she had found the little sucker hiding down the side of the seat and she returned it to its rightful home, the pocket in my handbag.

So although I don't have such an array of different lip balms now, my trusty sidekick is a little tube of Carmex. I love this stuff, it's great for making your lips feel smooth and moisturised. A little will make your lips look plump and dewy, or a more generous application will make them nice and shiny if you don't have a clear gloss. This is no one trick pony either, it can be used for all sorts of things. I have used it as cuticle balm when I have been out and about, or to soothe a hang nail. It also works well as an eyebrow gel. The benefits of this little product were drummed into us at college when we had one make-up tutor who was a massive fan and insisted that it needed to be in our kits, and no make-up artist worth her weight would be seen without it...... some things just stick huh?

On a side note my avon lady delivered my Glazewear Sparkle in shimmering amethyst today...... LOVE IT! Will blog about it soon.

Have a lovely evening guys!

OPI Lust List

I will not deny that I have a deep love for OPI nail varnish. I used to retail them because they were so popular and people used to spend ages admiring the colours and adding to their collections. But I had never tried them myself, because I was a nail varnish cynic! In the past whenever I had painted my nails they would chip within a day if not the day I had painted them, and it used to piss me right off! So much so I had given up completely and vowed not to bother, as it clearly wasn't meant to be on my nails. But then one day the nail varnish god shone down on me, I was bored and decided to try out this beautiful pale pink OPI varnish, I slapped it on without a second thought and a week later it was still on my nails with not a chip in sight! I was gobsmacked, and could now understand why girls used to flock over to me and eagerly ask if I had any new colours and buy 3 varnishes in one go!

So there is my little nail varnish triumph story, and how I came to have an unhealthy obsession for all things OPI. I do babble on, so here is the point of my post, 3 colours I am currently lusting after and may if I'm very good treat myself to.

Do you also love OPI? What are your current favourites?

Shoe Love

I am having a massive shoe addiction day today and have looked at LOTS and I am so in love with these.

Aren't they gorgeous? They are from Topshop and cost £75, I love the colour and think they would go so well with a pair of skinny jeans.

I am also lusting over a few pairs of wedges at the moment. I love how great they look without you having to worry about falling down every crack in the pavement.

Both of the above shoes are by Jeffery Campbell and I think they are amazing. Check out more from the collection here.

River Island Love

A couple of weeks ago during a Sunday coffee and stroll trip I saw a pair of black wedges in River Island that may have made me squeak a little because they were so pretty. I decided to go onto their website to admire them and found a few more things that make my heart flutter. Oh to be a millionaire so I could buy all that my heart beats for....

Top left: Black strappy wedges £50
Bottom left:  Top right: Dress £165
      Black bodycon £70
Bottom right: Pink T-bar shoes £70

I really love River Island and always find a few pieces I want when I go in there, especially shoes but I suppose that is because I am mildly obsessed with shoes. One day they might even have a room in my house all of their own : )

Liz Earle body wash and body cream

Good afternoon everyone!
My post is late today because I have been taking advantage of the sunshine by sitting outside all day, it has been so lovely and hot. So I sat out on the decking, read magazines and drank iced tea. Bliss

I blogged about some sample sizes of Liz Earle botanical body wash and body cream the other day, and I have had a couple of days to try them out so here are my thoughts.
The fragrance of these reminds me of my days working in beauty salons, the smell is reminiscent of the products we used that contain a lot of essential oils. Personally this fragrance isn't for me, I prefer something either fruity or vanillary (if that's even a word). However the body wash did lather up nicely and left me feeling clean, and the body cream soaked in well, didn't leave me feeling all slimy and left my skin feeling smooth afterwards.
If you like the smell of essential oils and a very beauty salon smell then you will love these, you can get the Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash in a try me/travel size so you can give it a whirl before committing to the full size.

Best foot forward

Hello lovely people, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I had one of those perfect lazy days yesterday, my boyfriend and I went into town to get coffee and breakfast. I had a lovely mocha frappacino and an almond croissant (yum) whilst we mooched around the shops in the beautiful sunshine. We went into a great little art supply store and I got some gorgeous paper, and I spent ages looking at make-up and my poor boyfriend sat outside eating his yogurt and granola to occupy himself.

Anyway, the point of this post is to share with you the little pedi I do on myself when I change my nail polish on my feet.

What you will need:
  • Nail varnish remover
  • Cotton wool
  • Bowl/footspa/some kind of water vessel
  • Bubble bath or foot soak
  • Body or foot scrub
  • Towel
  • Nail file
  • Foot file or rasp
  • Nail clippers
  • Cuticle pusher
  • Foot cream or moisturiser
  • Nail varnish
  • Base coat

foot creamOnce you have removed your old nail varnish with remover and cotton wool, grab your foot spa or old washing up bowl etc. (If you have neither of those then run yourself a warm shallow bath and you can perch on the edge, just remember to sit on a rolled up towel or cushion or your bum will start to hurt). Fill your bowl with warm water and add your choice of bubble bath or foot soak, I really like the foot soak by OPI. Grab yourself a magazine and put some music on and pop your feet in the water and relax for 5-10 minutes. After your tootsies have had a little soak give them a good rub all over with your scrub, the courser the grain of the scrub the better as the skin on your feet is quite thick and hard.
foot rasp
Now take your feet out and wrap them in a nice fluffy towel, if doing this in the winter put your towel on a radiator before putting your feet into soak. A warm towel is one of life's little pleasures.
When your feet are dry file any hard skin with a foot file or foot rasp, the warm water should have softened it so it will make this part easier.
The foot rasp pictured is from Nailtopia.co.uk.

Now use your cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles while your feet are warm, the skin should be soft and easy to push back. The slather your feet in moisturiser and massage it in well to improve circulation and make your skin look nice. I love Avojuice by OPI, they come in amazing fragrances. My favourite being Coconut & Melon Juicie, it smells gorgeous!

Trim your nails straight across with your clippers, then use a nail file to smooth the edges and shape your nails. At this point I often use a 3 way buffer to smooth over the surface of the nail and buff out any ridges so you get a lovely smooth surface for your polish, but you can skip this step if you like. You need to "squeak" your nails now to remove any residue of products that will prevent your polish from clinging to your nail. Take a little nail varnish remover on a cotton pad and just rub it over the surface of all your nails, and now you're ready for your base coat. Once this is dry paint on your nail varnish and your feet are looking gorgeous and are ready to party!

My current favourite colour to wear on my toes is Hampstead Heath by Nails INC, a lovely rich berry colour that looks really classy.

Samples

Liz Earle Tresemme

I hope you are all having a good weekend, I had a lovely day spent with my aunt yesterday whilst my boyfriend went to watch the women's olympic biking. While we were preparing lunch the postman arrived to give her a package of Liz Earle face cream that she had ordered, and it sparked a conversation about the products. My aunt has used the skin repair moisturiser for quite a few years and is a big fan, she and both her daughters use the brand for their skincare and they all love it. Now I have never used a Liz Earle product, but I regularly see it popping up in blogs and no one seems to have a bad word to say about it. My aunt very kindly sent me home with a Liz Earle catalogue and a couple of sample products to try. I have a 30ml bottle each of Orange flower botanical body wash and nourishing botanical body cream to give a whirl.
I also got a package with a few sachets of Tresemme split remedy, Elemental Herbology cell food and Dr Bragi bio marine exfoliant.

I am really looking forward to trying the Tresemme split remedy shampoo and conditioner, as my hair is bleached and it gets really dry and splits quite easily, so I will be interested to see how this stuff works. It claims there will be up to and 80% reduction in split ends after 3 uses. It apparently seals split ends from the inside.

I will follow up with the verdict on all of the above products in due course. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday peeps!

Rosy Glow

benefit big beautiful eyesFor the last few days I have been sporting a minimalist make-up look & today teamed with a smooth high bun. I haven't felt like spending ages in front of the mirror so I have just been putting a neutral colour on my eyes, like the middle shade out of the Benefit big beautiful eyes palette and a bit of the dark brown along my lashline, and a bit of a rosy blush on my cheeks. My favourite blusher at the moment is Cinnamon Glow by Vivo, it has a lovely warm pink colour to it and really brightens up my face and works so well with pale complexions. Altogether this a really natural look and takes me less than 5 minutes to pull together including doing my hair, it couldn't get much lazier.

I really love the big beautiful eyes palette from Benefit, the colours are simple and fresh and great for make-up newbies or those of you who don't like using bright colours.
I don't have much of the palest shade left now as it was such a big hit with my brides for their wedding day make-up so I will be repurchasing again soon to go in my kit. The other thing I really love about the palette is the little liner brush that it comes with, it is perfect for applying eyeshadow to your lashline for a soft liner effect and I use it every day.

Favourite Straighteners

Now I know that GHD has become a household name and many people believe them to be the best, so much so that people say they GHD'd their hair instead of saying they straightened it (which really bugs me). I unfortunately have never been a fan of their straighteners, opting for a different brand instead and having even converted friends who were GHD worshipers. The brand that I favour is Ego T3 (previously known as Bespoke Labs). I bought my first set of Bespoke Labs straighteners when my previous set of Kodo ones died, and I have never looked back. I have quite curly frizzy hair myself and these tame it so well and keep it smooth even in the face of dampness and humidity.
A few years back a friend of mine had volunteered to be my model at a wedding fayre I was exhibiting at, I was demonstrating different bridal hair looks and was curling her hair with my T3 straighteners one side whilst my colleague curled the other side with her GHD straighteners. Once I was home I got a phone call from my friend saying that the side curled with the GHD's had fallen out, but the side curled with my T3's was still bouncy and perfect. I rest my case.
hair straighteners

The Ego irons work with HW2 technology which smooths and de-frizzes the hair, leaving it looking lovely and sleek. They are widely available on the internet and prices start from around £79.95 for slim plates.
Give them a try, you might just be converted.

Blog obsessed

I have been feeling a little sorry for myself the last few days because I have had a really bad neck. I have no idea why, or what happened but from sunday evening I noticed the aching in my neck and shoulders and when I woke up on monday I couldn't move my neck at all and it was so painful. : (
It feels a little better today, I have a lot more mobility in it now thankfully. I was getting a little fed up of having to turn my whole body when I wanted to look sideways.
Anyway I will stop moaning and tell you about my worrying obsession with blogs. Not only do I love writing on my own but I have a list as long as my arm of other peoples blogs that I am following, it is now getting to the point where I will never be able to keep up with them all! I am just a very nosy creature and love peeking into other peoples lives and what they are up to as well as picking up great tips and getting ideas.
This is an idea I picked up from the following site:

http://thelook.today.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/19/10761453-diy-7-new-stylish-ways-to-de-clutter-your-beauty-closet?lite

make-up storage

How cool is this!? I think this is such a great idea for storing your make-up, and it makes it easy to access. It's a little DIY project so you can pick your own frame and colours and match it to your decor. Follow the link above for instructions on how to make it.

After spending some time browsing blogs my little brain is bursting with things I want to try and show you all and ideas for future posts. I am literally drowning under pieces of paper with ideas and products written on them! I need to organise things to control the chaos.

On a side note I am loving the temper trap right now, I have their album playing in the background for the second time round this morning!

Worlds first anti ageing hand sanitizer

Now I don't know how many of you this will interest, it seems a little too gimmicky for me personally. But it is a world first so I felt I should feature it in my little bloggy blog. The hand sanitizer is made by Renouve, and is packed with a substance called palmitoyl tripeptide-5. This ingredient stimulates collegan production in the skin and actively reduces wrinkles, and the anti bacterial properties come from bitter orange peel extracts.
It retails at £22 per bottle, which is pretty pricey for a hand sanitizer, but if you take in to consideration the amount you would normally pay for a tube of anti ageing hand cream it doesn't seem so eye watering.
The little bottles are cute, and come in a variety of shades although only two are currently available via the Renouve site. If you do decide to give this a whirl, let me know how you get on.

L'Oreal elvive nutri gloss crystal shampoo

I wanted to try this shampoo and conditioner after reading about it in a magazine. It claims to make your hair shiny by leaving micro crystals on the hair to reflect the light. I used this shampoo and conditioner for the first time this morning, it comes in a lovely pale pink bottle and the sparkle in the product is visible through the packaging. It has a nice floral fragrance, and lathers up really well. The conditioner did the trick and made my hair easy to comb through, my hair is a nightmare to comb if I use a rubbish conditioner.
I ran down the stairs excitedly once I was dressed as I couldn't wait to dry it and see the results. However I needn't have ran so fast because I couldn't really tell the difference. Maybe there is a little more shine but it could be that I am inspecting my hair more closely than I normally would, so I can't really be sure.
L'Oreal shampoo and conditioner
Overall I wasn't that impressed, it is a perfectly good shampoo and conditioner if you judge it solely on that. But if you are looking for something that will make your hair shiny I would stick to a shine spray or serum.
